Silent Forests 🦁

We are currently in the midst of the 'Sixth Mass Extinction'. Unlike the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs, this one is driven by habitat destruction, pollution, and poaching.

Biodiversity (the variety of life) is collapsing. This isn't just about sad polar bears; it is about the 'Ecosystem Services' usually nature provides for free: bees pollinating crops, forests cleaning air, and wetlands filtering water. Losing these services would cost humanity trillions.

Conservation efforts focus on protecting 'Hotspots'—areas with high biodiversity. Strategies include creating National Parks, banning ivory trade, and 'Rewilding' (restoring land to nature).
