Forever Trash 🥤

Plastic is indispensable but indestructible. Billions of tons of 'Single-use Plastic' (bottles, bags, straws) are used once and thrown away. They end up in the ocean, forming the 'Great Pacific Garbage Patch'.

Plastic doesn't decompose; it breaks down into 'Microplastics'—tiny particles. These are eaten by fish, then by us. We are eating credit card's worth of plastic every week.

Recycling is largely a myth (less than 10% is recycled). The solution is 'Circular Economy'—designing products to be reused, not trashed. Bans on plastic bags are a start, but we need biodegradable alternatives.
