Too Good To Be True 🤥

History is full of conmen.

  • Ponzi Scheme: Paying old investors with new investors' money. (Bernie Madoff). It works until you run out of new people.
  • Accounting Fraud: Cooking the books to look profitable (Enron, Wirecard).
  • Pump and Dump: Hyping a stock, selling at the top, and letting it crash.

Red flags: "Guaranteed returns", "Secret strategy", "Urgency". If it sounds too good to be true, it is.
