The War on Truth 📰

Propaganda is information, often biased or misleading, used to promote a political cause. Unlike simple lying, it uses psychology: fear, patriotism, or 'Dehumanization' of the enemy.

In the digital age, we have 'Misinformation' (accidental wrong info) and 'Disinformation' (intentional lies). State actors use 'Troll Farms'—armies of fake accounts—to sow discord in enemy nations. They don't need you to believe the lie; they just need you to doubt the truth. This is called 'Gaslighting'.

Censorship is the other side of the coin: blocking information. The 'Great Firewall' prevents citizens from seeing outside news. VPNs (Virtual Private Networks) are the tools used to jump over these walls.
