Correct time words signal the tense.

Past Simple: Yesterday, Last week, In 2010, 2 days ago.
- Remember: 'Ago' goes at the end. (I went 2 days ago).
Present Continuous (Future): Tomorrow, Next week, Tonight, In 2 days.
Present Simple: Every day, Usually, Never.

Common mistake: "I went there before 2 days" -> WRONG. "I went there 2 days ago" -> RIGHT.
