A good paragraph has ONE main idea.

Structure

  1. P - Point: Topic sentence. "The main cause of pollution is cars."
  2. E - Explain: Why? "Cars release CO2 which gets trapped..."
  3. E - Example: Specific. "For instance, in Beijing, smog is..."
  4. L - Link: Tie back. "Thus, private transport is a major culprit."
