The Basics & Detail Questions 🔍

The Format

You will read 2 passages (approx 700 words each) and answer 10 questions per passage. The texts are academic (university level).

Factual Information Questions

These ask for specific details explicitly stated in the text.

  • Strategy: Identify keywords in the question. Scan the paragraph for those keywords. Compare the sentence in the text with the options.
  • Trap: Do not choose an answer just because it has words from the text. It must match the meaning.
